N.S.S. Programme

Droan College of Education & Technology has been allotted 50 seats of N.S.S by Kumaun University, Nainital in the session 2011-2012. Students of B.B.A, B.C.A and Nursing are enrolled in this program and are trained for various activities and actions which help in the growth and development of the society. Various activities in which N.S.S voluntaries take part includes plantation of trees, green environment rally, Yuva Diwas celebration on 12th Januar y, Blood donation camp, Worlds AIDS Day, Sparsh Ganga Diwas, Disaster Management Service, Palse Polio Diwas.

DCET has also contributed in the Chief Minister Relief Fund in its very first session which was the biggest amount in the whole District.

Red Ribbon Club

Droan Group of Colleges is also a nodal center of Red Ribbon Club by Uttarakhand State Aids Control Society for Control and awareness of H.I.V Aids.
